Feldenkrais you to improve how you move, how how you feel and how you perform.

Many people come to me because they want to maintain their mobility as they get older, or want help and support after an injury. Others are looking for relief from a persistent pain or to improve their sense of well-being.

Aging with Vitality

As we get older many of us experience stiffness, aches and pains and accept it as a normal part of ageing.

However, to quote the founder of the Feldenkrais Method, Moshe Feldenkrais, “Decrepitude is not inevitable”!

Much age-related discomfort comes from deeply ingrained patterns of movement, that we have built up over our lives, unconsciously.

Using gentle movement lessons it is possible to gradually undo unhelpful ways of doing things and discover more ease and comfort in everyday activities.

Feldenkrais helps your well-being

Developing the way we sense ourselves and the way we move can enhance our sense of wellbeing and reduce stress. Honing these self-sensing abilities is central to the Feldenkrais Method.

During lessons you learn to focus your attention and awareness on your whole self as you move, your mind and body functioning as one in the present moment.

Tension & Injury

Many of us experience aches or pain everyday. It could be stiff joints, tense shoulders or pain from an injury.

Often we are stuck in patterns of muscular holding - our movements become more and more limited and the pain can become chronic.

Working with the Feldenkrais Method you start to unlearn ways of moving that are not helping you and discover easier, pain-free ways of moving.
